About Us
Who We Are
The Twin Cities Financial and Estate Planning Councils were established in 1978 to promote multi-disciplinary education, understanding, and cooperation among professionals who are involved in estate planning. It is organized to help its members render the highest possible service to the public by presenting excellent educational programs and networking opportunities. The programs we offer feature high quality local professionals with insights that appeal to a broad segment of our membership and nationally recognized speakers, such as Steve Akers.

How to Become a Member
To be eligible to become an active member of the Council, one must download and submit an application to the current Membership Chair. You may apply to become a member of the Minneaplis division, St. Paul divsion, or both. Membership is reserved for professionals who actively practice and exhibit a minimum of five years experience in estate planning. Applicants must obtain one recommendation from a current member with whom the applicant has worked on estate planning matters.
